The Galt House Hotel is the largest downtown meeting and convention hotel in the Southeast region. We are located adjacent to the KFC YUM! Center and walking distance to many restaurants and attractions in the downtown area. Our hotel features over 130,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, 1300 guest rooms, six restaurants and lounges, and much more.

The Galt House is currently looking for Room Attendants who are interested in a long-term position with our hotel and are committed to providing the best possible experience for our guests.  The Room Attendant is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience by keeping the rooms clean, inviting, and well-stocked with amenities, all in accordance with hotel standards and guidelines.

• Replacing linens on beds, emptying wastebaskets, dusting, mopping, cleaning all areas of the guest room
• Replenishing guest room supplies
• Returning items left by guests to the Housekeeping department
• Ensuring guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner
• Fulfilling any guest requests promptly
• Assisting with special projects or requests given by Housekeeping Management
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous housekeeping/hotel experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and associates
• Move, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to understand and follow through with instructions
• Bend, reach, stoop
• Walk for extended periods of time
• Work in a diverse environment
