The Galt House Hotel is the largest downtown meeting and convention hotel in the Southeast region. We are located adjacent to the KFC YUM! Center and walking distance to many restaurants and attractions in the downtown area. Our hotel features over 130,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, 1300 guest rooms, six restaurants and lounges, and much more.
Primary responsibilities will include cooking to order, frying, sauteing and broiling a variety of food items from the menu and for the buffet. May act as the back up breakfast line cook and buffet runner as needed. May prepare all items for lunch and ensure backups complete. Prepare any food prep as detailed. Cleaning duties as detailed. Working in all departments as needed. Must be able to work hot food line, broiler, fry station and salad station.
Minimum of one year line cook experience. JC Health Department Certification preferred. Must be experienced in using all kitchen equipment.
