    Down One occupies a unique place in the Louisville Restaurant landscape. We are an important

    stop on the Urban Bourbon Trail, We are at the access point to the Riverfront, The Downtown, and

    The Yum Center. We sit next to the largest Hotel in the region, and in the heart of the Office District

    of Louisville.

    Down One Bourbon Bar is currently seeking an experienced,  high energy, smiling, outgoing, bartender with a friendly and professional demeanor. A successful candidate must be customer focused with a strong desire to support our brand by providing our guests with the best hospitality experience possible.


    Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment.


    Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.


    Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.


    Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum.


    Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times.






    One year minimum bartending experience is required. Previous bartending experience in a hospitality setting is preferred. Strong working knowledge of Bourbons.


    High school diploma or GED equivalent.
