    Currently seeking an experienced PBX Agent/Telephone Operator with a clear, distinct and friendly speaking voice who will be responsible for answering incoming guest service calls and directing them to appropriate department or room in the hotel.  This important customer service role at the Galt House Hotel helps provide a memorable experience for guests by ensuring their needs are taken care of in a timely and professional manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Answer all direct incoming guest service calls in a friendly and efficient manner.
    • Will route all calls to appropriate department within the Company.
    • Receives guest messages and delivers to guest rooms.
    • Provides information about hotel services to guests.
    • Enter HOTSOS orders in a timely manner as requested by the guest.
    • Assist Front Desk with preassigning rooms and making room keys.
    • Assist Front Desk with paperwork when needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    • Previous customer service in a hotel preferred.
    • Previous experience answering telephones.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
    • Strong organizational experience
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.
    • Basic computer skills required.
    • Ability to type 20 words per minute.
